Rotaract
What is Rotaract?
Rotaract = Rotary + Action.
Rotaract is an essential part of the Rotary family, serving as a global network of service clubs for young adults ages 18 and up. Members are dedicated to addressing the world’s most pressing challenges while developing leadership skills and forming meaningful friendships across the globe. Watch the "What is Rotaract?" video here.
Rotaract clubs focus on hands-on service projects, mentorship, leadership development, and networking. They offer accessibility and flexibility for those seeking a different Rotary experience. Each club operates independently, choosing how to organize, manage funds, and carry out service projects that align with the needs of their communities. Rotaract clubs can now be established with or without a Rotary sponsor, and they have the option to select another Rotaract club as their sponsor.

Rotary districts are encouraged to include Rotaractors in every district committee, further integrating Rotaract into the larger Rotary family. Clubs are open to all young adults at least 18 years old, providing a welcoming space for community engagement and leadership growth.
Often described as “Rotary, but with better parties,” Rotaract clubs typically meet twice a month—once for a business meeting and once for a social event—with additional meetings scheduled for service projects and events.
Rotaract clubs engage in both local and international service projects, collaborating with local Rotary clubs or working independently to meet community needs while promoting international understanding and peace.
