Due to the current RI guidelines on no district-led in person meetings through the end of the current calendar year, the 2020 August Vibrant Club Training Seminar has been re-imagined.  Club presidents and leadership teams who have already participated in an Offical DG Visit (what we are calling Rotary Open(s Opportunities) Houses) are aware that instead of the district organizing a training event that occupies a full Saturday, we are asking all Rotarians who hold a leadership position to take advantage of the training created by Rotary International via the Learning Center.
Rotary's Learning Center continues to be updated and added to as a result of feedback from Rotarians.  The courses are comprehensive and have several formats. All of them can be taken on your own schedule; you can begin one day and take a few days to complete the course.  You can even download a certificate to turn in to your club president or frame and hang on your wall.  One of the many advantages of using the Learning Center for training is that all of the information is the latest, most current information and includes any changes or revisions made by Rotary International during a Council on Legislation.  No matter how well your club prepared you for your leadership role, you are sure to learn a great deal and gain perspective by taking the time to access these modules.

Note that, due to data privacy and intellectual property concerns, you will need to log in once to MyRotary and then again to the Learning Center to begin a course.  From the new rotary.org, sign in and then hover over Learning & Reference and select The Learning Center from the dropdown menu.

A list of all Rotarians who enroll in and complete the courses can be made available to your club president and assistant governor; because the opportunity for training and leadership development is required by RI, all Rotarian leaders are asked to complete this on-line training for their role prior to the end of September.  This will ensure that your club benefits as quickly as possible from your enhanced understanding of your responsibilities and the opportunities for collaboration and participation with Rotary outside your club.
